Easter Part I

We had my family over for a barbeque and games on Easter. We also had an Easter Egg Hunt for Hunter (see pictures below). We ate then played some badmitton. We were going to have an Easter Egg coloring contest but everyone got tired and so we just drew for the prizes. We all had a great time. How fun to be with family.

A group of us after we ate sitting around and talking.
Had to throw this picture in so we could see how Alicia is growing. Baby Abigail will be here a just a few more weeks. Yea, another grandchild on my side that is in Utah and someone for Hunter to play with. Next year he will be helping her find the eggs.

How much more fun can this little guy have? He found his Easter wagon from Grandma and Grandpa (sucker included) and now he is off.

In his Easter wagon was a squirt gun. Mom showed him how to use it and then he began squirting it. Mostly at himself but he thought it was fun no matter what. Check out the water going straight up in the air. His eyes are closed because he kept squirting himself in the face.

Grandma and Hunter enjoying the sun.

Easter Part II

Jess and Hunter. Look how cute his Easter outfit isHunter and I looking for eggs during the Easter Egg Hunt.He found one. Hunter did so well picking up the eggs. He was so excited when he saw one, would run over to it, then put them in his basket and was off looking for more.
Just look at this determined face he had. He is going to find all the eggs. Oh wait, he is the only one looking since he is the only granchild here right now. But not for long Abby will be here soon.Is this the face of one happy kid or what!

Alicia's Baby Shower

Myself, Paula, Grandma, Jess, Courtney and Candace had a baby shower for Alicia at Candace's house. We had around 22 people who were there. She received alot of really nice things for her new baby girl Abigail. We can't wait for her arrival.

Here is Alcia showing off her new little tummy. Not so big for someone who will be delivering in about five to six weeks. She looks so cute.

Here were the refreshments for the shower. Jess and I made the diaper cake for her. It turned out so darn cute.

Alicia opening some gifts she received at the shower.

A new pink blanket for little Abby.

Carson's Tennis in St George

Carson had a high school tennis tournament down in St George and Brian, I, and Derek went down to watch. Carson plays #1 doubles for Davis High and his partner is Tyler Davis. They did so well. The team went to the finals. Carson and His partner lost in a third set tie break to the rival Viewmont. Carson and his partner are looking forward to matching up with them again during region play.

Midway Part I

We got the opportunity to go and stay in Midway for a few days with our family. We have some great friends (Gary and Wendy Graham) who let us use their house. What a fun place. We got to do some sledding, snowmobiling, Ty fished-we watched, relaxing, and had some good family bonding time. Thanks Gary and Wendy for letting us share your beautiful place.
Carson, Derek, and Ty went sledding down this hill. It doesn't look that big in the pictures but we took them up on the snowmobiles and they came down. Brian followed behind on the snowmobile to see how fast they were going and it hit the 40 mph mark. Thank goodness for helmets.
This is Carson. They were going so fast I didn't know quite when to take the picture. They had a great time.

Hunter got to sled as well. He loved it best when daddy pulled him around.

Lunch break in between sledding and snowmobiling.

Midway Part II

Me, Hunter, Jess and Ty just getting done with a ride.
Hunter, Tyler and Jess. Hunter loved riding the snowmobiles. Anything that goes fast is what he likes.

This was the first time Derek had been snowmobiling since he has been home from his mission. He had a great time.

The family kicking back and watching a movie after a day full of sledding and snowmobiling.

In the house we stayed in there were these steep stairs that of course Hunter loved to go up and down. It was great fun to spend a few days with the whole family and enjoy the outdoors.

The Eagles are Landing

Our family went and looked at the eagles out at Farmington Bay. We went with Tyler, Jess & Hunter as well as The Richards Family. We had a good time watching the eagles come in as well as watching the Pelican's fish. How fun to have something so close.

Dinner After The Eagles

After we went and saw the eagles we all met at Robintino's in Bountiful and ate. It was alot of fun enjoying the wonderful company of both families.

Valentines Day

For Valentines Day we didn't do too much. Brian and I made a steak and crab dinner and ate in. The kids were either working or at friends. It was nice just to spend some time alone together. Love ya Bri!. The day before Tyler and Jess brought Hunter over and we gave him his Valentine treat. Below this post, I posted a close up shot of the shovel, card's and pillow boxes I gave my kids. Hope everyone had a great day.
Grandpa giving Hunter his Valentine Treat.
Hunter holding his treat. I love this look on his face.

Mommy helping Hunter open it up. He loved opening the kisses candy and then just putting the chocolate aside then opening another.

Grandma and Hunter.

I love his smile. He just brightens your day with it.

Valentines Day Treats & Cards

I had so much fun this year making cards and treats for family. Hope they enjoyed them.

Grandma Day!

I have to say I am pretty lucky and fortunate. I get to spend one day a week with my Grandson Hunter. Since the moment I found out that Jess was pregnant I told her I wanted to be able to have a Grandma Day once a week. We have just started do this and I must say I LOVE IT! I look forward to this day each week and to be able to do nothing but play with him. I can't wait until it gets warmer so I can take him and do things outside. I know I am truly blessed to be able to have the time to do this.
Thanks Ty and Jess for allowing me such special moments that I wouldn't trade for the world. Here are some pictures of Hunter just being Hunter.
Hunter is the smartest kid. He tries so hard to be as big as everyone else is. Here he is trying to get himself some water. Thank goodness for locks.
He loves to play hide and seek. He's just checking to make sure Grandma is watching.

I love to just go in and sit by and watch him play with all his toys. He is such a curious boy.

We bought Hunter a tool bench for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. He now has big tools like dad.

He thinks he is really making things. Too cute!
